        It is not fair to be treated like a drug addict by your team. For it to be told to me at the last moment of my 40-minute visit that they're unable to prescribe because of a drug test is completely absurd I have financial difficulties and I came seeking a resolution I'm a 42 year old man who has trouble with their ADHD for their whole life I have never been asked for a drug screening before getting prescribed by medication. I do not have the finances in order to take the drug screen I have an eye condition I don't drive I can't pay for the transportation if drug screening was something that was a must and have to be done that's something that should be made clear up front at the beginning of the appointment because I would have told her then I don't have the finances and we could have saved 40 minutes I understand your young medical professionals are intimidated but a drug screen is not mandatory best practices of general term it's not state law
