I’d give my regular visiting nurse, Amy, 5 stars. Today their customer service should get zero. I had to call them FOUR TIMES today and still have no answer. The on-call nurse covering for Amy did not show at the regular time (8:45am) to draw blood before my vancomycin infusion. Didn’t actually talk to her until 3 phone calls later at 11am when she said she’d be to me at 1:30pm. She needs to draw blood before I take the Vanco. By not telling me she was coming later, my medicine was taken two hours late and now I have to stay up until midnight to get my second dose of the day. She didn’t actually come at 1:30pm today because I told her it was the middle of my staff meeting and I’d be free at 3pm. She said the night nurse would have to do it. Fine. But after another call to dispatch at 3pm I still don’t know when the nurse is coming. I’m not housebound! I am still working during my medical issue. You can’t just Willy Nilly change people’s appointments and expect them to be available when you get to them! Especially if it involves the timing of medication!

Very bad and not responsible service. They never call back. All prescription need to be send twice (at least) because they never get it. Horrible customer service. Not pleasant experience

I obtained a C-PAP unit from these folks and was told they would contact me every three months so they could arrange new supplies to be delivered to me. Three months passed. No telephone call. So I spent my precious time trying to find the number. I called them up and of course I got a menu system. When I finally got to the C-PAP department, I got another recording saying they check their voice mail once an hour. Really! How much money is this business losing by being so unresponsive? I am giving them one more chance (1 hour) to show an interest in my well being and then I will go somewhere else. I am sure there are other local suppliers that must have better customer service than this. Update--Baystate did contact me within an hour and were helpful getting my supplies. I just a received a follow-up call from them today. Hence, I am upgrading my rating to three stars. Once again, three months has passed and no call to me to order supplies. I again spent time finding the number and calling only to get a recorded message that they will get back to me. Two stars for now.
