Dr. P is the best!!! Ive had such bad anxiety with dentists since one experience I had where the Doctor was so cruel & pulled my teeth with no sympathy to my issues. Dr. P worked with me & game me my smile back & I literally cried happy tears leaving the office. Everyone makes you feel comfortable & they all do their best to keep you happy at each appointment. Love the girls & Dr. P for all their help. I highly recommend you choose Dr. P as your dentist :) Thank you Dr. P for giving me my smile back that I have missed for so long. Definitely gave me a huge boost in my confidence & mental health!

This is a lot to read- but worth it! A few years ago, I was diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases. Along with being on immunosuppressive medication and oral steroids for almost 2 years, my teeth were literally falling apart. After being a patient of two previous dentists who just kept pulling out the broken teeth and didn't help me figure out what to do with the missing and broken teeth, I had given up. I stopped having an open smile. I was self-conscious of this and tried not to laugh too hard. I learned how to cover my mouth when I felt like my smile was going to be an open smile instead of closed. I was embarrassed for something that was out of my hands. When I would eat, chips from my teeth would fall out. I spent some nights crying from pain and from the frustration of something I could not control. I stopped taking pictures. I ate mostly soft food. I minimized in-person socialization due to the condition of my teeth and the gaps of missing teeth. With every encounter I had in person, I was conscious of how much I even opened my mouth when speaking. I decided to call Southbridge Family Dental. I know I had an infection, and I was getting it treated with antibiotics from my PCP, but I felt like I really needed to try to get it taken care of. I was nervous to call. I took a deep breath, gave myself a little pep talk, and then called. I explained what was going on and then got the courage to ask if they helped those with missing or broken teeth. (Some dental offices I went to were referred to somewhere else for this.) They said yes, and they wanted me in soon to take care of the infected tooth. They were very courteous and understanding, and I was seen in a short time after. When I had the appointment, I explained the circumstances of my teeth. My anxiety was high, and I was embarrassed. The dental assistant was so kind. Dr. Patadiya was very understanding, thorough, and reassuring. They went through the process of taking photos of everything and then explained what he would do. Dr. P stated, with sincerity, "We will give you your smile back." I literally teared up hearing that. Now, after multiple appointments and many root canals, crowns, and partials over the course of just a few months, I have a full smile back!! It'll take some time to remember that I don't have to cover my mouth. It'll take time to remember that I can laugh freely when socializing again. It'll take some time to talk to others and not be worried about if they notice my teeth (I hope they do now!). And I am forever grateful to feel like I can do these things again. All of the staff here is phenomenal. The amazing ladies at the front desk always speak kindly, are helpful, and explain things well. The dental assistant I was always with during the visits always explained what she was doing, how she was doing it, and would listen if I had any concerns during the process and bring the concerns to the doctor's attention if needed. She was very patient and had a great attitude. Dr. P paid great attention to detail on my teeth and answered any questions or concerns I had with honesty and compassion. He worked very hard on my smile, and it shows! For some people, it may not seem like much. But for someone like me who has health complications and cannot control what happens to my body, it means everything to be able to smile again and not hide it from embarrassment. It feels great to have back a part of me that I felt like I would never see again, while the rest of my body's condition is out of my control. Thank you for giving me my smile and my confidence back!
