    Rude and incompetent people They are full of themselves and dont treat customers well. So Bob the owner just called after reading my review and is upset that I left a negative review. He costed me tow money by telling me that I can get the truck towed there and he would look at it. I as a concerned small business owner called him to ask when I can expect a diagnosis and then he told me that he does not want to work in the truck and to get it towed out of there again. He hung up on me at that point. I WAS very happy in the past working with his shop and they had done good work and also referred 2 customers who used his services. SOMETHING changed in his attitude recently and after costing me $900 in tows and being rude to me and my employees I will make sure that NO ONE in my network EVER uses him again. He could have resolved this easily by being civil but something has changed in his attitude recently. He said small businesses should look out for each other and he is RIGHT, he was the first to break that respect for each other by falsely saying that he would look at it and having me tow it there. His money or a clients money are BOTH something that we put in hard work for. Also he states below in his response that I told him that other shops did not want to work on it BUT he fails to say that he recommended a shop that works only on sedans and personal vehicles not commercial vehicles and that is what I told him that they would not work on my truck as it is something they do not do. BOB ONLY wants to listen to himself talk and no one else. BBB complaint on the way.

    Only had experience with Don. They should definitely have someone else to talk to the customers as he believes that people can read minds and have multiple vehicles. I spoke with him a week ago, and with my work and kids schedule, I was unable to get my truck in for diagnostics. I finally took the day off, waited for a tow truck all day, got it to their shop around 1:30 pm and he said I would have to leave it and they would get back to me when they have a chance. I wish they told me that their shop machine takes couple day's or I could've has a different shop look at it. I drove it to a different shop in Oxford in 2nd gear , and they're short a guy at the shop, but they said they could fit me in today. Js seems much better, more informative, they don't seem shady, and best of all, their diagnostics machine only takes a few moments. So they're able to help a single dad out who needs his vehicle. Not everyone has multiple vehicles like globe Don thinks. Update: I was told a few hours later by j's automotive that I needed a new transmission and that "since it was the 8 speed transmission, it would cost me about 8,000 with labor because the parts can't be ordered so I have to go through the dealership." After searching for a new transmission myself because 8,000 is too much, I realized that Don and Jay were both trying to rip me off. It is not even the 8 speed transmission. After running my Vin through the dealership, I was assured that it's the 6 speed transmission, which is much easier get and 1/3rd the price. So in conclusion, the other people who are leaving the reviews are friends and family, my money isn't as green as theirs, or ripping people off is standard practice. Do some research people before throwing your money away!

Hey Sam I'm sorry you feel that way I have bent over backwards for you plenty of times I just don't want to work on that truck you pushed the issue beyond being respectful your self . It's a shame when you leave a bad review like this and make it personal. Like I explained to you the truck is to big to fit in my bays I'm not going to have my techs work outside in the rain but you insisted that you needed for some events and when I said to you 4-5 times I didn't want to work on it but you didn't want to listen I even recommended another shop but you said they didn't want to work on it either . Again sammy I'm very sorry you feel this good luck to you

Hello Scott. This is Bob I'm the owner of globe transmissions for the past 22 years .I'm sorry that you were unhappy with you visit with us. I remember you calling us last week about you truck and I do understand that making arrangements to leave your vehicle for the proper diagnosis can be a inconvenient but it does take time to get to all the vehicles diagnosised properly .it is our standard operating procedure to have our customers to leave the vehicle with us and with 24 hours we get in touch with them and discuss thougherly discuss our results Im detail with with them. I apologize if there was a misunderstanding with the conversation you had with Don, he's been with us for over 7 years now and he is in tune with all of our whole sale and retail customer. J's automotive is a great place ae well we've been business with for years. Again I'm sorry for your inconvenience. I can assure you that we are not a shady business and I'm deeply sadden by that comment as we at globe transmissions work hard at customer satisfaction for the past 22 years .
