Last night me and my fiance went out with her grandparents to this place and I can not say I am happy. When we arrived there was spacious parking; we walked in and sat at the dining area where they were also having karaoke. It took 10 minutes before the waitress quit walking by us and asked us what we wanted to drink, if we hadn't asked for a menu she would have neglected that too. It took 15 minutes for her to come back with 3 sodas and a beer at which point we had decided to share a salad for an appetizer and ordered a cheese covered bacon wrapped chicken. I have never been to a restaurant where you didn't offer you a variety for sides before. It took 20 minutes to receive our salad. The slow service was horrendous, The salad was decent; the vegetables were fresh and the ranch dressing was good. Ten minutes after the salad came out so did the chicken. It came with a side of re-fried beans that appeared to have been sitting there for quite some time and over buttered rice which was decent. The bacon wrapped around the chicken was still pink and soft, a good indicator that it was raw and as we all know the number one rule with food is never serve raw pork. The chicken wasn't pink but it seemed to be small for the price. When we mentioned the raw bacon to the waitress she went to ask the manager/owner and told us that it looked like that because of the juices it was cooked in. After we were done eating and the check came we asked to speak to the manager and he came over holding what was clearly a jack and coke (drinking on the job, how professional) and my fiance went to talk to him about it the undercooked pork. His excuse was that it came precooked so it was fine. He didn't offer any kind of compensation or anything and that excuse just isn't cutting it. You never serve your customers raw pork. I ate some of the bacon assuming it was good and I was in the bathroom until almost 2am. It's obvious that the owner posts positive reviews so I just want to say thanks for the food poisoning.
