There is nothing better than great food... And the food here is delicious... After schlepping to their location... It was worth it... Wish they would have more locations...

I was there last night. First, we found out that they were out of every meat on the menu except for fish. Then wait for the server to return to take our order. Half an hour later we asked another server to take our order. They did. Then for an hour and a half we waited. People who came in after us were served, ate and left. Finally we ask the server why we are not getting our food. Turns out they forgot to make it. We were so hungry we walked out and ate at an amazing italian place around the corner.

The food is very good. BUT every time we go or order take out there is a problem with the service or we get charged extra. They also charge you for extra eba, unlike other similar restaurants. Sometimes the takeout portions are smaller than dine in. The last time we ordered take out from Suya we were charged for an item that we didn't order and called back to have it refunded. The woman who answered the phone asked for my phone # and said she'd call back later. I asked if we could take care of it then and she said she was in the kitchen and didn't want to write the card # down. Well that would have been 6 digits more than my telephone # but ok...... I guess when you're the only Nigerian restaurant in town you could care less about your customers.... :(:( I recommend this place only if you love Nigerian good enough that you don't mind being treated like crap by their staff.
