I believe my husband and I were referred to JH Insurance over 6 years ago when my husband became self employed and needed to find insurance through the Massachusetts Business Association as a small business owner. We spoke to Josh Harrington and he patiently and thoroughly walked us through all of our options for healthcare providers detailing the various benefits each company provided and different plans offered within each company. Each year, during open enrollment, he contacts us to let us know we can change providers and what the various companies are covering. Last year, my husband switched to Medicare and I needed to switch to an individual plan. The Healthcare provider made an error with my plan ( billing me all over again for a large deductible to be met) and Josh, again, worked with everyone to get this situation rectified. I do not hesitate to recommend him to a small business or individual who needs to find suitable healthcare coverage and who appreciates the responsive, personal service that Josh has continued to provide to us.

My wife is self-employed and when I got laid-off we were both worried about the healthcare implications of the job loss. I initially tried to find insurance through Mass Health Connector, however, I was flooded with calls from companies from all over the country, with no idea if they were reputable or not.
I realized at that point what I need was a local broker who can show me multiple options and explain the differences. I wanted someone impartial. After spending an inordinate amount of time on Google I finally found Josh. I sent him an email and he called me the next day and then after a short conversation sent me a list of plans. Since these were local companies all our doctors and preferred hospitals were covered on these plans. Good luck finding that with some national provider.
I'm not saying the options were cheap, but we went with one that was a very significant 30% savings over COBRA. Perhaps just as important, since my wife is self-employed we are able to deduct the cost of it on our taxes.
Josh guided us every step of the way, was laid back in demeanor, and very efficient in determining what worked for us and signing us for it. He made it a far less painful process than I was expecting.

Josh is very knowledgeable and helped me and my wife secure Life Insurance as well as helped me get Health Insurance for my business. I can’t recommend him enough and when people I do recommend him to use him they are all ecstatic about how great he is.
