Union Fish

We met friends here Friday the 30th. Too cold to sit on the dock so sat at the bar. Very nice bartender, wish I had his name. Excellent chowder. Fresh fish. Large portion appetizers. I'd go back on a warmer night.

This place has great seafood. I really enjoyed their oysters on the half shell and some of their salads. The place is a bit pricey, but worth it.

I went to a rehearsal dinner in September and asked if they were going to be open on Thanksgiving and they said yes and I should called in late October to make a reservation. I called in late October and they say November 1st...no problem. I called back and made a 2pm reservation for three people on Thanksgiving Day. We were there on vacation and very excited to go to Union Fish. We arrived at 1:55pm to find the restaurant closed. We eat our Thanksgiving dinner alone at a bar. I am very disappointed. They had my phone number. There were other people in the parking lot wondering what was going on. Thanks a lot!

I have dined here for lunch several times and loved it every time. It's perfect on a summer day...breezy shady patio area...fresh salads, good drinks, friendly wait staff. I even moved from my table to the bar after I was finished, as everyone there seemed happy and relaxed. I had time to kill and it was a nice way to spend the time. It isn't cheap but I didn't find the prices to be outrageous for the experience.
