John is extremely helpful and very passionate about his craft. I can go in there not knowing much about a particular region or type and he walks you through everything. He also keeps you within your budget and will recommend great values.

Just went there got a bottle of champagne & a bottle of white, haven't tried yet but the service alone was phenomenal. Good conversation & friendly nature, I'm only 21 but I've been to plenty of rude/uninviting wineries, this one stands out. Great price too.

Moved to the area recently and stopped in while waiting for takeout food at another local establishment (we love supporting local!!) . We left very quickly as we thought it was a liquor store and not solely wine, we thanked the worker that we saw, giving a smile on the way out.
We didnt notice at first but one of the employees followed us down the street about 200 yards and eventually stopped us and made us show them our pockets to prove we didnt steal a bottle of wine. At first I didnt even realize they were from the store and thought this was a stranger, a scary experience!
I have never in my life been accused of stealing. Feeling sad and unwelcome in this new community. Will never walk foot in here again and would never recommend. Not sure if this was racism or pure arrogance but either way, no excuse.
Update: Owners response is a straight up lie. I looked up a photo of John the owner and he was one of the players that spoke to us after the incident and said Thanks for the honesty which makes no sense since we didnt steal so idk why we had to be honest?? The owner clearly is lying in his response, since we saw him and spoke to him I will call you after work today to discuss. There was no confusion in my experience yesterday!

Just moved to the neighborhood recently and was just checking out the local stores in the area. My girlfriend and I walked in thinking it was more than just wine but quickly saw it was just that. So we decided to leave to go check out other stores when we notice a man from the store followed us down the street asking if we were good, as he proceeded to ask whats in my girlfriends hand under her jacket (which was her phone).To our surprise we asked what he meant and quickly found out we were being accused of stealing! We then look back and see JOHNthe ownerwho lied on another review of the incident standing outside to check. We then walk back towards that area and told John that we did not steal anything and he said it looked suspicious and thanked us for the honesty. We were honest before we walked in, honest when we left, and are being honest in our review. DO NOT feel comfortable walking in this store without a purchase (especially if you are black), you will be followed and accused of stealing. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!
