        When you are in Tartufo, you truly feel the European warmth and elegance in service, food quality and atmosphere! Happy this wonderful restaurant is right in the heart on Newton!         Used to dine at Tartufos a few times per month pre pandemic. Returned last nite. Definitely not the same: 2 of my previously favorite dishes were bland (grilled calamari and Orecchiette) Wrong order delivered to the table. When my wife said this isnt mine waitress responded I know but no apology. Upstairs atmosphere feels like a function room unlike downstairs seating. Much better value/atmosphere/service at Vinotta in Waltham or Davios in Chestnut Hill.
