Can't say enough about Platinum Posies...but I'll try! I grew up in Middleton, but have lived in Los Angeles for over a decade. For the last few years, I've been sending flowers for Mother's Day, sometimes on my mom's birthday. While most people's reflex is to go to 1800Flowers (always hearing their ads on the radio around the holidays), I like to support local and small businesses when I can. The time difference, however, combined with my absolutely NOT being a morning person at all, can make that difficult. I discovered Platinum Posies had a web site--voila! My mom has received beautiful bouquets every time. Tina ( I believe the owner) is always prompt to respond to my emails on the occasions I've messaged. I never expect to hear back same day, as I'm typically emailing end of day or after close on the east coast, but I receive follow up at late hours! When there was a delivery issue (missing flowers that we later discovered had to do with bratty neighbor's thieving kids...) Tina personally made a fresh bouquet first thing and got it delivered straight to my mom.
You can fully trust in the 'florist's choice' options as well! While I've always picked an arrangement in the past, this year I went with this option. I know supplies are thrown off for many business due to Covid and didn't want there to be an issue. I simply sent and email letting Tina know that I always go with a 'cheery' feeing arrangement, gave a few color examples, asked if it would be possible to go for that feel. I got an email back that evening saying that wouldn't be an issue, and my mom texted me the next day --gushing about her flowers and sending a photo, as always. Happy to know I can count on PP for all my flower needs back 'home.' Thanks from the West Coast!
