The food and service were the best. The atmosphere is a bit dated but quaint.

Having dined at Basil Restaurant last night, I must say the ambiance was top-notch. The dim lighting and cozy seating made for a pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was a bit slow, as it took quite some time for our food to arrive. Nonetheless, when the dishes finally made their way to our table, they were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the basil-infused pasta, which was bursting with flavor. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food, but I do wish the portions were a tad larger. Overall, Basil Restaurant offers a decent dining experience with room for improvement in service efficiency.

I have dined here, at Basils, several times over the years but have never felt the need to write a review until now. I usually go with the girls in my neighborhood and after this last experience, we all agreed it would be our last. Its a very busy old school style restaurant. The bar with some high tops is on one side and the restaurant if you will is on the other. It is a very loud place. Our server was excellent and very patient. He gave the 4 of us separate checks and here lies the issues. We all realize the cost of food has gone up but this was ridiculous. I ordered a cheeseburger no lettuce, tomato, onion just plain and no side. I had a Diet Coke. My bill was $23.00. I was shocked. AND it wasnt the best burger I ever had. They also dont have pickles. Come on!!!! How can you have burgers without pickles I ask. One of my friends had one of the specials, 2 glasses of wine and her bill was just about $60.00. The bottom line line is the service is better than the food and the 4 of us agreed to remind ourselves the Basils is off our list of restaurants. Parking: Parking lot across the street
