Ordering over the phone sucks and the girl that answers sucks also
tried to tell me how to order my own steak tacos and how they can do one type of steak for dinners and a different type of steak for steak tacos which is again over the phone stupidity because when l eat in l order exactly what l want to eat and how. So they missed $100 sale on tacos as l needed several dinners for the entire family all because that stupid girl answered the phone and didn't know how to take my order correctly and then you end up with the wrong type of meat on your own taco you paid for
Stupid girl
I won't be trying again and l ate there often so she ruined my time never again

Parking: Parking is along the street, always able to find a spot but not always easy

Hadnt been to Zarape in a handful of years and decided to give it a try last night as we typically go to a different local Mexican restaurant. Nice new renovation but lost the vibe I remember it having. The remainder of the experience was a major disappointment. We sat at the little bar in front of the window where service wasnt great. Truthfully the bartenders are slammed and having them break away from the bar to service us is probably a pain for them, but thats on management to figure out. We went to order guacamole but were told theres no guacamole due to an avocado shortage. Ive had no problem getting it else where or avocados at the grocery store? Our food comes out and my chimichanga is soggy. I know the bottoms get a little wonky from sauce but this whole thing is a soggy burrito with no crisp. My husbands meal comes out and theres guacamole on his plate, I just laughed. Refried beans were good, margaritas were good, the chips had either an over cooked or old oil sort of taste. Theres definitely better options locally - we wont be back.
