Ruyi

The place isn't even called ruyi anymore. It's changed. I love hibachi but I was so disappointed with the service. I made a reservation almost 2 days in advice, it was suppose to be all set! But when I showed up they told me we had to wait because they said they sat other people At our table (we were on time). We waited almost 2 HOURS! It was so frustrating. No one communicated with me, saying what was happening. The waitress was rude and asked our order three times before even understanding what we wanted. The chef was fine and the food was decent, but the food wasn't worth the terrible customer service. When I complained politely they offered $12 off a $300 bill.. I was horrified. Honestly what a lousy experience.

I don't even know where to begin.. Our group had made reservations for 6 PM and when we showed up on time they had told us that we needed to wait because they sat another group at our table.. On top of that about 2 HOURS LATER when they finally sat us and it took about 30 minutes for the chef to show up! We politely asked for a discount due to the terrible service and they only offered a small small discount off of a huge bill.. that was the least they could offer.. Overall, the service was TERRIBLE. There is so much more I can complain about but I'll keep it short.

The service was miserable because the woman taking our takeout order asked me what it was three times. The food was dry and lame. Go to yagtzee river across the street if you want decently crummy Chinese food.
