THRIFTY CAR RENTAL

No complaints about the age of the vehicles being offered. The big problem: The cars are poorly maintained - we went through 3 of them - one left us stranded on the side of the freeway for two hours - and all three had problems. Customer Service is just "ok" - they were courteous - but definitely nothing to write home about. Promised a 10% discount for our experience - but only gave $20 :( Will never use them again, and will never recommend them.

SHIFTY THRIFTY!!! They are very unprofessional and unorganized in that office - I reserved a van two weeks in advance for a family trip to get a call from their office 24 hours before I was to pick up the car saying " we're sorry, but we will not have a van ready for you tomorrow cause we gave the last one to a customer who just came in and paid in advance for a van they need tomorrow". Really? What's the purpose of early reservations? They did not even have the decency of honoring the original quoted rental price with another thrifty office. I had to make last minute arrangements with their competitor.
