I had reservations in Hyannis just in time for Hurricane Lee predicted to hit the area. I called the Hyannis Chamber of Commerce to ask if they thought I should follow through with my visit. Nancy and I spoke for a while about the area, she gave me some great tips & said she thought it would be safe for the one night I had planned. I'm so glad I called and came for a visit- what a lovely place! Nancy was so friendly & helpful, thank you.

The barriers are just part of the mess that has been made of Main Street. There is no continuity to the looks. It looks like a 3 ring circus. No theme to it It's time to get rid of the BID thing.

Being a lifelong resident of Cape Cod, I have seen many changes over the years. The growth that Hyannis, specifically, has undergone has been incredible. Downtown Main Street and the Harbor have become vibrant and exciting places to be with the restaurants, shops, adorable shanties, and fun things to do. All 7 villages of Barnstable are unique and worth a visit!
