Jimmy, our representative from Dan's Custom Hardwood Flooring, is extremely professional. He responded quickly to our inquiry and promptly came to our house to advise on the installation of a new hardwood floor for our family room. He listened well and offered good advice. The work was conveniently scheduled to take place while we were away. The finished floor was beyond our expectations. It looked beautiful and matched the adjacent floors perfectly. Jimmy's team did a great job! We will highly recommend them to anyone.

Jimmy and crew at Dan's Flooring were great. They were able to fit us in at the last minute, and did an amazing job on our floors. Everyone who has seen them comments how great they came out. The crew was quick, polite and left the house spotless. We are very satisfied with their work and recommend them highly!

I selected Dan's Custom Hardwood to replace carpet in three bedrooms. There was a miscommunication somewhere down the line and some plumbing lines were pierced during the hardwood install, and the repair ended up costing a larger amount than we were expecting. My wife and I were nervous about the bill, as around this time you'd expect the contractor to stop picking up the phone. We were relieved with how quickly Jimmy accepted responsibility and paid for the damages in a matter of days. When selecting a contractor to work on your house, keep in mind that accidents can happen and it's important that you can trust them to do the right thing if things do go bad. Clearly I wish things had gone a little differently, and I'm sure Jimmy does as well, but that's just how life goes sometimes, and he did everything he could to put us at ease and make sure the issue was fixed.

While I can’t speak to their work, I would like to speak to their communication and business practice after placing an inquiry/requesting a quote. I have an older home and I recently took up the carpet on my staircase and the upstairs landing area. I found that the floor below the carpet was a beautiful wide-pine floor and I wanted to refinish it rather than place a new floor over the existing floor. The floor is certainly not in perfect shape and does need some work. I called 4 companies to request a quote. With the exception of Dan’s Custom Hardwood Floor, all companies came out to take a look at the job and they all provided a reasonable quote. Dan’s Custom Hardwood Floors requested pictures of the job, never came out to view the job in person, and replied with “Thanks for the pictures. I honestly believe what you have there is a bit beyond a simple refinish. If you are interested in potentially putting in new wood floors, let me know.” It seems strange that 3 out of 4 companies never mentioned the floor being beyond refinishing. Additionally, because they were the only company to not come out and view the job in-person, I immediately felt uncomfortable and would not have moved forward with them anyways. Again, while I can’t speak to their actual work, I felt it important to express my opinion and explain my experience with them.
