I almost never write one-star reviews, because I don't want to put more negativity out into the world, but if any company deserves a one-star rating it's Pella/Pella Boston. I spent over $80,000 on Pella Reserve windows and then paid Pella's recommended installer to put them in. They came with dozens of problems from minor to major--including warped sashes so several windows don't even shut. So, okay, stuff happens. It's covid. I understand. But, they've made only minimal efforts over the last 6 months to address the issues. I still have windows that won't close and no one will do much about it, even after contacting the CEO. Get Andersen or Marvin. They have to be better than these folks, because it would be hard to be worse.

The management Pella of Boston and Pella Windows should be ashamed of the poor quality of workmanship that was performed at our house. Moreover, their installer deliberately installed a window with broken glass, and the damage was covered with blue tape. Their installer/installers were/are dishonest! I would never recommend Pella windows or Pella of Boston.

Its hard to believe a company like this can stay in business. Similar to other posts, my experience was horrible. They showed up to install doors in august. 5 minutes later the installers said they couldnt install them because the doors were in such bad shape. Ok fine stuff happens. They refer me to a person at corporate to work with and things went downhill from there. They couldnt come out until October. That didnt work for us so I said just cancel the order. They refused. I said ok how about a discount. Crickets. They dont show up the second install date and when they did the doors were once again poorly painted and damagednot to mention bright daylight visible through the edges. How does a door company leave a job with gaps? Thats the entire point of a new door! Still trying to cancel order and they refuse. Please do yourself a favor and go with Andersen or Marvin etc. There are always a few outliers but in the case of Pella, the reviews show that they have a trend and its not good.
Update: please see pictures above. Also keep in mind that these pictures are after 2 install attempts. Ask yourself if this is who you want doing any install. Personally I wouldnt let them install a doormat. Charged full price, never offered a discount. Avoid.
