La Cucina di Hampden House

Honestly I would give three and a half stars if that was possible. That being said, the following is what the restaurant did really well. Our server was fantastic. She had recommendations, was on top of things, and was friendly. The interior was clean and has a great feel to it. It felt comfortable and inviting. Our appetizers: Brussel sprouts and calamari were really good. My mom said her Salmon was really good and my brothers steak was cooked perfectly. Where it went wrong? Both fillet orders were overcooked. The two orders were exactly the same but when they came out one had a lot more potatoes on it while the other was really skimpy. My wife got the wrong thing and it had to be returned. No apology. First drink order came quickly but second took forever and the bar was not busy. The bartender seemed to be complaining about work with another waitress. No bread?? Small thing but seems odd to me. The price paid for what we received was not good. I personally would not choose to come back.

Your cant go wrong here, from the drinks to the apps to the pizza, absolutely great, especially the bar!

Went to lunch with a friend. I was told to order the Braised Short Ribs. Unfortunately they are not on the lunch menu. The waiter asked the chef if they could accommodate me and they did! I was so impressed with the level of service. The food was delicious with a more than adequate portion. Parking: Easily accessible adequate parking.

1/2 price pizza night is our Mondays.  Delicious pizza and great service   Get there early as it gets crowded later in the evening
