My grand-nephew, Emilio, loves his PreBot! He is only 3 years old. A couple months ago, my sister took him to live in Massachusetts and left all his toys including PreBot behind in my home in Puerto Rico. Do you know he asked for his PreBot until it was mailed/shipped to him. I’m so pleased that he loves it. He has many toys. But, the only one he insists we ship to him was his PreBot. I love prebot and the book for my son .... I love the positive message of the book and how it helps reinforce what I'm trying to teach him. Plus my son loves robots!

We first saw Rod Lowe on the TV show “The Toy Box” where he presented his creation, the play buddy, Pre-Bot to a panel of fifth grader. They were impressed, and they liked his toy and the idea of teaching Pre-Bot how to behave by setting a ‘good example’. After seeing this on TV, I too was impressed. I contacted Mr. Lowe & Fiwi Toys, we made arrangements for him to come to our school to introduce Pre-Bot and his 'toy friends’. The teachers and I saw potential, but most importantly the kids loved this visiting group of toys. That first day the group of 20 five to eleven year olds had added Pre-Bot and his play buddies to their social circle. It was a community of classmates sharing their ‘free choice’ time with play toys, interacting with genuine kindness, discussions, and respect. They all saw themselves as modeling ‘good’ behavior just as Pre-Bot had learned in the storybook that Rod had read to the class earlier. A week later Pre-Bot joined our Kindergarten class. The following is an update of Pre-Bot’s life in our school after two months: Students love Pre-Bot! He quickly became an official member of the group. Students take turns partnering up with him during the school day and involve him in all of the goings on in the classroom. Pre-Bot comes to group meeting, story time, music and even participates in Show & Tell! We’ve set up a comfy corner with robot sized furniture where he hangs out when not busy with the children. The students take their responsibility to teach him how to be safe, friendly and responsible (our school code of behavior) quite seriously and look to set a good example for him. Rod did an outstanding job presenting Pre-Bot and reading the accompanying book to the students. He has a very friendly manner and the kids warmed to him immediately. Pre-Bot is well designed and quality built. The book’s storyline and illustrations are thoughtful and well done. Pre-Bot has been a most positive addition to our class. Highly recommended! Our son loves his Prebot! We're especially grateful for it's high quality design and materials because it's managed to stay intact despite everything he's put it through.
