The food was pretty good...my potatoes could have been hotter. I had Eggs Benedict with arugula that was very tasty...it was the service that was weird. Our waiter acted liked he was too busy to wait on us. As my friend stirred her coffee with a fork we waited and waited for our breakfast...after several minutes of waiting she was told that they were out of pancakes...she ordered the French toast as our waiter walked off.
Thank goodness for our attentive bus boy. He was very helpful. Perhaps next time the waiter could say hello to us before he starts describing what the restaurant does not have. Even when a restaurant is very busy guests feel more welcome when the waiter spends a minute...that is not obviously on the way to his other tables who all seemed more important than us.
