Village Sub & Pizza

This is the Pizza establishment to judge all others not in a major city by. As far as North shore style hand tossed Italian pizza goes, this simply cannot be outdone. Quick on the phone? They sure are! There's a reason they're in a hurry and there's a long wait at 6pm on a Friday night: everyone is there! Cheese steak, chicken kabob, Italian cold cut, not one bad choice. Also-Breakfast! Actual home cooked-style breakfast with literally every combination of eggs/pig/bread you can think of and they'll even put most of it on a bagel or in a burrito. Look for that yellow sign lighting up Central Ave since before I was born- and then let your taste buds understand how a small town restaurant can still be standing decades after all others around have sold, rebranded or disappeared.

The pizza here is superior to most pizza shops in the area. I believe it is because of the "Village People" creating the pizza. The food is better than the music they used to make, so I am very thankful they decided to make pizzas while in retirement. "Young man, there's a place you can go. I said young man, when you're short on your dough."
