This is legitimately my first review but, in this case, feel like the owner should know. My wife and I moved around the corner from here about a month ago and thought itd be fun place to check out. We ordered two margaritas, which were basically a pound of margarita mix and a splash of tequila in beer glasses. Neither of us finished them. We had a nice conversation with the man next to us who had ordered a bud lite and french fries. We closed out and decided to pick up his tab. The bartender gave us a bill for $64. Charging us $38 ($19 each!) for our margaritas (what you would charge at an upscale NYC nightclub) and charging us for a goose IPA ($10) rather than a bud lite. When I went to say something and ask a question, the bartender was already gone and decided to ignore us. I can absolutely tell you we will never be going back. The whole thing felt very scammy. It attracts locals and the bartender clearly wanted to take advantage of people he hadnt seen before. Its too bad, we live down the street and were looking for a local spot.

As a person of color, this place is very welcoming and had excellent service. The beer is very cold and the food is delicious. Do yourself a favor and try the fried pickles (spears) and the Prime Rib sandwich. Thank me later!
