2013 Toyota Avalon 14k miles had poor paint repair on both rear lower quarter panels (did not have much expectations for thoses areas-overspray) The rest of the should have come out looking good. Purchased Showroom finish for 249$ (150 to 200$) everywhere else, however, we were visiting Mitford MA. and relied on Yelp reviews (slim pickings) Live in the Chicago area and have been working on my cars, including detailing for over 35 years as well as paying for detail services. This job is and was not worth 249$ and more importantly would receive the same 3 star review if I paid 150$. From the onset there was a mix regarding the exterior detail. Pat corrected the issue after the detailer was allegedly finished in under an hour. A show room finish - wash, clay bar, single stage buff, remove some scratches and under the hood detail was a total of under 2 hours... End result the car looks better than it did when he started, however, keep in mind it had never been detailed. The car overall looked mediocre which is why I gave the 3 stars. I was hoping for a better outcome and as for the rear quarter panels they came out pretty decent 👌 only a full sanding and repainting will make that look nice again. I would not recommend this detail service nor would I use them. I have had better success almost every time with other detail services, this detail service was one of the few yielding the poorest quality of results. On a positive note the service was in time and the detailer was very polite. Exterior detail only. No paint correction requested nor discussed as I know the quarter panels were beyond that point.
