Peter is a calm, funny, extremely organized and inspirational tutor. Studying for ACTs and SATs can get to be stressful as the process is quite long. Peter always arrives with a smile and an optimistic, realistic plan. My daughter has grown and so has her score under Peter's tutelage.

Peter is an incredible tutor, he helped me raise my SAT Reading and Writing score from a 640 to a 700. Despite being my SAT reading and writing tutor, he also gave me tips on how to do better in the math section and avoid doing silly mistakes. I was scoring 700 in the Math section, however, IN ONE WEEK, with Peter's advice, I was able to raise my math score to a 790!

In the short time Ive been working with Peter, Ive found our lessons both interactive and engaging, yet also structured enough to be highly educational. Peter has somehow communicated the the more abstract SAT Literature Subject Test to clear, simple rules and strategies (something I did not think could be done) that has resulted in a significant improvement in my scores; approaching the Literature Test the same way I could approach mathematics is fantastic! Peter conducts our lessons with an inviting and easygoing tone that I've found very encouraging and effective throughout our work together. Im very lucky to have met such an amazing tutor; Im excited to work with Peter again in the future!

Before tutoring with Peter I was not confident in my math abilities. On the first ACT I ever took, prior to tutoring with Peter, I received a 27 on the math section and a 31 composite score. Peter is truly the best tutor I have ever worked with. Through our weekly meetings, he noticed where I struggled in math and created targeted lessons plans to address these information gaps. He also helped me to strategize how to answer each math question. After every lesson, Peter wrote my mom and I a summary of what we went over and homework that targeted my weaknesses. Peter gave me confidence in my math ability that I had never felt before. We also practiced the English section. On my first ACT I received a 28 on the English. Peter taught me in a simple way the grammar rules that are tested on the ACT. His knowledge of the test questions and eloquent teaching style helped me achieve things I had never thought possible. Once a student that never believed I could even get in the 30s in the math section, I received a 31 after tutoring with Peter! My English score went from a 28 to a 35 after tutoring with Peter as well. I cannot thank Peter enough for his help and the confidence that he instilled in me. After tutoring with Peter, my composite score went from a 31 to a 34. Peter is really the best tutor for the ACT!
