This place has been an institution in the Harvard Square area, with excellent food and clever drinks, and occasional celebrity and politician sightings. But with Jody Adam's success elsewhere, the partnership here folded as Rialto l will close permanently June 20th, 2016.

Do not recommend at all. Extremely rude experience last night. The waiter, Jeff, never offered water or anything. We had to continually find bartenders/waiters to get service. The waiter, told my friends they were "belligerent" after one drink each and got offended when one of my friends asked what kind of wine they kept as their house Pinot. He asked us to leave, for asking what the issue was. Then the manager told us we could stay (which we didn't after that experience). An unbelievably rude experience. Surprisingly aggressive wait staff to a group of people talking about business and hanging out after a night at the Jazz club. Would not recommend if you like having a drink, getting served, a polite staff, or a reasonable experience. You can get overpriced drinks with much better service at multiple other locations in Harvard Square.
