On Nov. 1, 2021, they will begin requirements to either have a Covid vaccine or a negative test to enter building. I am ethically against this, which I conceive as medical discrimination. The question is why put these restrictions in now? I have been going there for almost 4 years. They will not accept natural immunity as valid, but more importantly, I don't wish for a society in which various administrators are calling medical shots and gaining more oversight and control over us.
My other complaint is that in the 245 Main Building there are two, large multi-stall bathrooms that are next to each other and they made both gender neutral. Do adult women really want me following them into the bathroom? It's awkward and invites conflict.
A lot of the authoritarian "new culture" politics we are seeing does not work for me, and I am currently putting my membership on pause.
