Landing 53

Lived here for over two years and had a really good experience. Comfortable environment, good community/neighbors, and pretty quiet building. Leasing staff keep the building in good shape and are responsive and receptive; maintenance guys are solid and helpful (Larry and Jamie). Place felt like living in a hotel, would definitely recommend.

The leasing staff were all very nice and made the process of moving in smooth and easy. I have a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and things were complicated on my end...however, the leasing manager was so patient and friendly throughout the whole process, keeping me in the loop and never showing any signs of frustration nor annoyance, despite the amount of road blocks we hit during the process.

Place used to be nice, but the property manager has ruined this place. Never solves issues, (like carts for groceries constantly going missing, garage doors constantly breaking, and most recently- fire alarms in building going off. This week it happened at 3am during the work and school week where residents were trapped outside for an HOUR. This little piece of work will send emails to residents berating them like children about leaving trash outside of garbage can (he has cameras which he uses, and so he could have easily figured out who culprits are, but decided to take away our privielage of having a garbage can in parking garage for everyone instead). But then when these fire alarms randomly go off and ruin peoples sleep schedules during busy school/work weeks, do you think he sends an email apologizing or offering any sort of explanation? Of course not! Love how that works!!!! Oh, and get ready! Rent goes up every year by a minimum of 100. Pool and gym are getting fuller and fuller. Noise is terrible if youre on any of the floors below the top one. People blast music wel after quiet hours and nothing gets done about it. Etc. If youre looking in the area- go to the newer building next to this one instead. Tony needs to lose his job. If there was an anonoymous poll of residents in building, Tonys bosses would know just how unhappy people have been.

I lived at Landing 53 for the last 4 years and it was such a wonderful experience. Tony and Erica were always so so helpful with any questions or concerns I had. They made sure that I was always taken care of and made me feel like my questions no matter how small were important to them. Larry and Jamie the maintenance men were always there within a few minutes to address what ever mechanical issues. The building was taken care of and always clean. The amenities were an awesome addition to a quiet living environment. Very rarely did we hear loud noises except the occasional road work. Landing 53 is situated in an awesome part of Braintree with some great restaurants outside. With Quincy and Weymouth on either side of you there were countless things to do and places to try for dinner. Being next the commuter rail was so convenient. I would have loved to have kept living here had jobs not changed. I would give Landing 53 more than 5 stars if I could.
