Failed to update PrintShop for Mac and after keeping paid users waiting for 2 years, has been teasing for months a free update they still won't deliver. The Developer Who Cried Wolf. We've been lied to and misled for so long, I wouldn't believe them if they said the sky was blue. Zero credibility and they keep making it worse.

Be wary if you order from MacKiev. I have been a FTM user since the beginning of Family Tree maker. While I am thankful that someone has picked up the program and updated it, MacKiev is no very good at communicating. I should have learned when purchasing FTM 2014 and FTM 2017 but I didn't. I pre-ordered FTM 2019 back in May 2019 while it was still being developed and tested. An email stated it would be later this summer (2019) that it would be ready. September comes and i contact Chat, now we are told it's end of Boston Summer (September 23rd) not happy but ok. I wait until then, then they post on Facebook, they need to have 200 more Testers, the program release is postponed. Come September 28th, the program, FTM 2019 is ready for release and they will be sending out emails to everyone who pre-purchased 10,000 at a time to not overwhelm and crash the system. Why is it NOT a surprise that the release coincides with the 30th Anniversary of the Original Family Tree Maker. I suspect it was the real reason for the delay not needing 200 more BETA Testers. They tell everyone wait a week to 10 days to receive their email BUT suddenly those who DID NOT pre-purchase are able to purchase AND Download, they aren't put in line. I am told to still wait by many on Facebook, Family Tree Maker. How is it right that the President of MacKiev posts that those of us who pre-ordered are first in line BUT they open it up to anyone around the world to purchase and download and we who MacKiev has had our money for months have to wait? When asking in Support why, they have no answers. They offer nothing in return other than they are able to send me a link to download my prepaid program. If the system can only handle 10,000 at a time and that's why a slow roll out then open online, instant download sales should NOT be happening! The only way you can get support is through their Chat which isn't the most friendliest support, they only like to copy and paste their answers. There's no phone support so you can't talk to a real person. Beware if you purchase from MacKiev it can be quite frustrating trying to get answers and what you pay for. If you do make a purchase keep ALL your emails and chat transcripts and take screen shots for your own protection.

I ordered FTM 2017 DVD for my daughter and grandsons. USPS says it was delivered on 27 Apr 2019 but my daughter never got it. I tried to contact Software MacKiev and have had no joy. My money is gone and I never received the item. Very poor customer support. Zero stars would be more appropriate.

Love the FTM 2017 program. Better yet, love the 24/7 chat support.
