Fairly typical bar / restaurant for a high-end hotel. Good cocktails and food. Service was a little frosty.

Especially in fair weather, when the patio is accessible, the Woodward is a great spot to grab drinks and snacks with a small group. The cocktails are excellent - the Green With Envy was a recent favorite, though not recommended for those not fond of bitter flavors or squeamish about raw eggs - if a bit on the pricey side. The food is also consistently well done in my experience, with the duck confit flatbread as a standout. Keep an eye out for the bar snack specials, too; the rotating selection of deviled eggs was excellent. The Woodward is seems to almost always be crowded. Check your coat with the hosts to make things easier, and try the corners of the long bar to catch the eye of a bartender if you're not snagging a table (standing in the middle of the bar puts you in the midst of traffic).

Nice room (downstairs - upstairs was "private" the night I visited), there are friendly barkeeps with a limited range of cocktail craft capabilities, but an openness to make whatever you request and create something drinkable. They need more rye options behind the bar as well. The high cocktail prices ($14-$18) are somewhat offset by the trendy hotel locale and the size of the pours.
