Dana-Farber Parking Garage

Very expensive $40 without validation, must pay in the atrium on first floor, bad signage

I have been bringing a family member in from out of state to Dana Farber for treatment for the last ten years and I must say that the parking and patient drop off situation is currently terrible at the hospital. In sharp contrast to the awesome care she has received at Dana Farber for the last decade, the parking experience was pitifully lacking. While many of the parking changes are certainly due to COVID, the confusion and misinformation given by the parking lot staff is not excusable. I spent 15 minutes driving around the underground garage in search of a QR validation ticket and directions for parking down the street at 375 Longwood. There were no signs nor any help from garage staff directing me to this ticket and directions.. A sign or two near the patient drop off area would go along way in helping remedy this situation. Also, the only reason for parking down the street in the first place is to gain either cell or WiFi service, in order to join a conference call with the Docs at the hospital, as there is no WiFi or cell service available in the main underground garage. Hope this helps someone else!
