Office Headquarters – Trader Joe’s

I just cant respect this company anymore. Their corporate lawyers are trying to dismantle the already weak labor protections we have in this country, all the while spinning a PR story that they are a great place to work. I will be avoiding shopping here until Trader Joes walks back their stance on the NLRB and respects the right to unionize.

Dear people who are looking to form a union. I've been a employee of Trader Joe's for 9 years. We do not need or want a union. I'm in my 60's and I've had great jobs my whole life making 6 figures. Even though I'm not making that at Trader Joe's salary wise, when you take Into consideration of the excellent pay along with the insurance, pay increases and there contributions to your 401k I wish I would have known how wonderful this company is a long time ago. I've would have been here for 25 to 30 years if I knew what I know now. Trader is as close to being the perfect company then any other that you can find. If you don't like it here why not seek employment somewhere else. For those of us who love this company we are fine. I've spoken with people who have been in a union before. 30 years to be exact and they work now for Trader Joe's and they stated that it is not worth it. I love Trader Joes and I am happy with everything that they do. Seek employment elsewhere if you are not satisfied.

Wow. Not only are they union busters, but they're now sending their lawyers into court to claim that the NLRB is *unconstitutional*. Wow. What complete and utter Pinkerton level garbage.Happy employees make better employees, and unions make employees happy. I'm sorry that paying people a living wage and seeing to their safety and health cuts into your profit margins.

I'd give it a 5*, except my favorite sour dough boule bread has been discontinued, it's my main reason to visit frequently and spending several hundred $$$
