DECEITFUL PRACTICES... It's common for garages in Boston to set out sandwich boards advertising special night and weekend prices. The signs advertise the current prices to encourage business. Pilgrim Parking at Park Lane Garage in the Seaport deceives customers by setting out signs advertising a $12 rate and then charging $34, claiming that the early bird special rate does not apply on Sunday afternoon. So why display the $12 sign on two corners in the afternoon other than to intentionally deceive customers? During these challenging COVID-19 days, you would think the parking garage would be appreciative of customers willing to venture out to support local restaurants and businesses while adhering to social distancing requirements. Instead, Pilgrim Parking apparently prefers to gouge those customers who do come out. The attendant in the booth claimed she was unable to override the price to honor the posted rate. She said to pay the $34 and ask for a credit tomorrow. We insisted that she get a manager before we left the garage. She got "John" on the phone who said that we had to pay the higher fee. No interest in customer satisfaction or honoring the posted rate. Shame on @PilgrimParking for allowing this garage to operate in this deceitful manner

My experience with the valet staff at the Westin Waterfront hotel in Boston was absolutely terrible. I did call to make a formal complaint but haven’t been able to speak with anyone. They were very unorganized and led us to another parking lot when hotel parking was full, which ended up being $64.00 for 8 hrs, after telling us it would be $40.00. They never told us that we needed to ask for a sticker upon pick up. Luckily the parking lot was willing to correct the mistake, if we brought them a sticker but the valet refused. The woman in the office needed to consult her manager for some reason and came back to inform us that her manager said they would not give us the comp ticket. The hotel manager corrected the charge on her end but the valet staff was ridiculously unhelpful.
