I'm not surprised Fidelity has such a poor rating. Abject failure of a company. Trading platform is antique. I am in a trading group with 100's of traders and Fidelity's reputation is the worst of all the platforms we use. Features in Fidelity are good if today were 1985! Trading helpers even for active traders seem unable to assist with basic questions let alone complex ones. I am in the process of transferring both my Fidelity accounts to TD Ameritrade who has the great trading platform Think Or Swim. Some of my assets have already transferred and I'm up almost 10% since the transition away from Fidelity. If you have Fidelity trading accounts, RUN, RUN FAST.

Management of 401k funds has been fine. Website is archaic, however, and oftentimes redundant. Main gripe is when I tried to do a 401k rollover from an old employer to my current one. The website said I would receive a check in the mail within 2-4 weeks. During that time, the rollover request auto-cancelled on its own for not having been completed in a satisfactory amount of time according to Fidelity. It had barely been a week and I hadn't received the check THEY were supposed to send me. I never ended up receiving that check and had to call to get this done. The agent who helped me was nice and efficient, but the first experience here was a joke.
