My go to place to hang out!! Unfortunately now the place is shut down it seems. As in out of business!

I have loved Cafeteria Boston since the fall of 2012. Today I was craving their spinach & artichoke dip and their tuna burger for dinner -- two of my absolute favorites items on their menu. I placed my order through Grub Hub and after 35 minutes, I received a notification that my order had been cancelled. I was confused and decided to call Cafeteria to further inquire. I spoke on the phone with a young woman, Olivia, and she said that my order was cancelled. I asked why this happened and she said that the kitchen was behind and so all orders were cancelled about 5 minutes ago. I explained to her that I had placed my order 35 minutes prior and she said she had not seen any orders come in through Grub Hub. This I found hard to believe because I received a text and email notification saying that my order had been received and was being processed. I was also given a driver that was en route to Cafeteria. She NEVER apologized and just said I can try to order again in 30-40 minutes. I am extremely upset by the unprofessionalism and complete lack of customer service. I don't know how long I will be taking a break from Cafeteria, but at this point it's indefinite.

Amazing staff! Great outdoor seating! Fab food! Social distance in style! See and be seen- All things beautiful on Newbury Street!

Went for a function. Food was great. Drinks were good. Great atmosphere
