It's just not the place to teach kids to love dance. It's a paint by numbers studio. They tell the kids what to do (sometimes yell at them) and then repeat the same steps over and over, week after week. When my child struggled remembering some of the steps, they wouldn't help her. They told her to practice but she didn't remember the steps at home either. She was very frustrated. It was very hard to communicate with the teachers and they didn't want to help. There's also a mean girls culture where kids form groups and pick on some of the other kids. Apparently, this isn't discouraged because it went on the entire year. If your kid is super in to dance, this may be the right fit. Otherwise, stay away if you don't want your kid to hate dance forever.

i love this place. i've been going for a month now. taking bollywood & burlesque pop. it's not a huge studio, but it's fairly clean & there's plenty of parking.

I love Lynn and Jen's. The adult classes are awesome.
