Deposited a large insurance check into the ATM was told that the funds would be held for over a week due to the large amount. Have contractors coming to replace our heating system on Friday so need funds available. Asked manager if theres anything we could do about this. Looked at the receipt, then began to speak over me, saying theres nothing that can. The bank is allowed to hold the funds as long as they like. Stating extremely rude demeanor. I was able to in the parking lot within about 15 minutes speak to a bank rep. That cleared the funds in two business days. In the amount of time He was speaking down to me he couldve simply looked at his computer and fixed the Situation. It seemed like hed rather be right than to help the customer.

Extremely rude staff, appear completely incompetent and disorganized, lack of knowledge of banking basics. Things have deteriorated at this branch year after year. Considering move but not ready for the hassle yet. Sad our town of Andovers bank is so so lousy.
