Wheelhouse

Wheelhouse catering was one of our best hires for our wedding. I am gluten free and finding a caterer that would do a 100% gluten free wedding was something at the top of my list. I had narrowed down my search to a few and Wheelhouse stood out to me with both fair prices, great communication, and I really felt like they cared. Better yet they didn't upcharge me for it, which is something the GF community is sadly more than use to. Our custom dishes were delicious, we even had a Nasi Lemak which is a traditional Malaysian dish (where my husband is from). My husband was very impressed at our tasting as were the other Malaysian guests at our wedding. They clearly did their research! Our wedding had many guests with their own allergies including dairy, walnuts, peanuts, garlic, onions, and so much more. I had one guest who couldn't have a single dish we designed and they called ahead of time to custom make a dish that was safe for them that they would enjoy! Every single guest was spoken too by the staff and was individually brought out their plates. I was told by so many people how great, cared for, and safe they felt eating their food. As someone who has lots of anxiety around food I absolutely loved hearing that. Wheelhouse was great from start to finish. Designing the menu, the tasting, the logistics, the food, the service and clean up. They truly went above and beyond. I couldn't dream of a better caterer for my wedding.

Wheelhouse was the perfect choice to cater our office staff dinner. The space in Amherst is lovely and comfortable and chic. The staff are helpful, friendly, and talented. Working with them to create our menu and finish up details was a breeze. Definitely recommend this company!

Fantastic food, service, and partnership. Thank you! Jake and the team at Wheelhouse Farms helped me plan the celebration of my mother's life from the West Coast and host it months later on the East Coast in Amherst, MA. From menu considerations to budget and season, vendor recommendations (floral and catering supplies), to run of day planning, and venue coordination (including visiting and photographing the venue on my behalf), the team went above and beyond to help ensure that the event came off flawlessly, and it did.

We worked with Wheelhouse for our wedding in October and cannot say enough positive things about them!! From day 1 Stephanie was super communicative, easy to work with and flexible - she and the team accommodated multiple menu changes and day-of updates all the way to the month before the wedding. But above all, the food and service were STELLAR. We put together a seasonally-focused menu with the perfect fall dishes to compliment our beautiful surroundings, and everything was fresh, unique and delicious - we still have guests bringing up how incredible the short ribs were! On top of that, the serving staff and bartenders were super friendly and pleasant. Overall we could not have been happier and will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great caterer!
