Parks Landing Seafood Restaurant & Carryout

Parks Landing has closed down... Use to be really good food although a little pricey. lots of good memories there. To bad the place went down hill for some reason . Lost another local seafood place.

Something has happened to this place. My wife and I and some friends used to come here twice a month. About 4 months ago, we noticed the food was not up to par. We aren't the kind of people to complain about restaurant food, but this time wasn't the case. Not only has the food quality dropped but the wait staff has as well. You are constantly reminding them about refills or other things.

We come here for the ALL YOU CAN EAT CRABS. Crabs can sometimes be small and empty, but it's all you can eat so no big deal.. However, the price increased again this year and now they don't let you have refills on the soup....only one cup per person! Because of this we did not choose to eat crabs here like we have in the past.

Went on a sunday night at 6:30, we had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated, which I felt was great. Once seated it took about 7 minutes for a server to great us and take our drink order, kind of a long time in my opinion. After the order was taken we had 3 other waiters come and ask if we had been helped yet, nice but it tells me that people aren't working their sections ( or our server isn't that good). Drinks are delivered and our appetizer order and entrée orders are taken. This is where the problem is my wife and youngest received their food, and 3 or 4 minutes later my oldest child gets her food. 5 minutes after that the appetizers came out. About the time my wife and children we done eating my food and my mothers food came to the table. We had crabs pretty good for small ones, a crab pretzel that was good, wings were nothing special but not bad, a soft shell crab sandwich was so so, and a cheese burger, I didn't expect too much from the burger since I was in a seafood place, but the frozen burgers that you buy from walmart would have been an improvement . Its unfortunate i won't be returning here because my daughter really likes going here for crabs on her birthday
