Dr. Del Corral is an excellent gender confirmation surgeon. He corrected a previous procedure and it went without a single complication. He calls you and checks on you even at 12 weeks after your procedure. The previous surgeon didnt call me even once after the packing was out. He went beyond helping me. He is a wonderful human being and his staff coordinated everything. Dr Del Corral

I have to get a redo due to my implants flipping over. I went in December and chose to get DIEP flap which was what I originally wanted. They put in a request to my insurance. After 4 months of waiting, I called my insurance and they said his office canceled the request a month prior. I contacted him through the portal after my calls and messages were ignored and his rude secretary told me that I was basically lying. The next day magically I was called to schedule my surgery though. They gave me April 10 or 24 and I chose the 10th. Today, 2 days before surgery, I contacted them to ask about Wednesday. I was told that my surgery was rescheduled and wouldnt happen until SEPTEMBER 5th. Almost a year after it was put in for approval. Horrible horrible horrible. Im so upset and disappointed for so many reasons. They didnt even contact me! Do not go here, its not worth the stress. I was recommended Dr. Aboulaghasemi after I was diagnosed with cancer and Dr. Del Corral works with her doing the reconstruction and mastectomies. I had my double mastectomy on January 3rd 2023 and both surgeons were great and did amazing work. After that day, I followed up to fill my expanders with Dr. Hodge who I believe is Dr. Del Corrals PA. Dr. Hodge was nice and just as informative as Dr. Del Corral. Initially I chose to do the Diep flap. My husband and I were happy with this choice, especially since I was told it all would be completed by May and that I wouldnt have to deal with these uncomfortable, heavy, ugly and painful expanders in summer. My expanders only required 2 or 3 appointments and once they were filled I feel as if I was forgotten about. Some time had went by so I tried reaching out to my surgeons to see when surgery was going to take place because time before summer was running out. After many phone calls and messages left, I received an email at the end of the day on a Friday, giving me a surgery date. Before I had time to respond I received another email saying they gave my date away because I had not responded to their multiple messages. I only had one email! I responded to the email, super upset because I didnt have time to give up my surgery date. It was already way later than I was promised back in January when I had the double mastectomy. When I responded to the staff, the woman simply said Im sorry for the confusion! Keep in mind that I just had the worst year of my life. I lost my hair. My body looks mangled from the mastectomy. I cannot wait to get my chest fixed and this person completely wrote me off and did not care whatsoever. I tried reaching out to Dr. hodge many times because I decided to change my procedure to implants so that I could get a sooner surgery date bc it is a much quicker surgery. July 27th is 7 months after my mastectomy. 7 months of HEAVY, UNCOMFORTABLE, DEFORMED looking expanders. I had to make an appointment and drive the 45 minutes to the office just so I could speak with my Dr. because the emails, phone calls and messages didnt ever work getting to talk to him. When I saw my Dr we were basically told tough luck and I just had to wait. I was so happy when I was told in the beginning that I would be done all surgeries by May. Taking that promise away from me pushed me into a bad depression. Feeling this way after battling cancer for a year is dreadful and I feel as if my surgery team couldnt care less. I wish I had the option of going to someone different but I do not. The only positive thing about it all is that Dr. Del Corral does amazing work and I know that I will be extremely happy with how it looks, when it finally gets completed.

I cannot recommend enough or sing the praises about the extraordinary work and care of Dr. Del Corral, PA Andy Hodge and the rest of their amazing team. Dr. Del Corral and his group are the most professional, caring and thorough medical professionals I have ever experienced. From the original consultation for the Big Surgery to the actual procedure, the hospital stay to the after-care, Dr. Del Corral and team are there for you. Traveling all the way from Floriduh was so worth it. Returned a year later for Dr. Del Corral to do a revision for a previous doctors inexperience. Dr. Del Corral fixed the issue and is truly a skilled artist. Definitely recommend and entrust Dr. Del Corral for anyone considering any Gender Affirming procedures. I will forever be grateful for giving me new life. They are the best!!!
