Ed and Tony are great. They take the time to help me when ever I need them. I purchase my Amsoil oil from Browns and have them work on my bike for tires and repairs. While no one wants to have issues with your bike... with Browns the repairs are completed right the first time . Services: Tires, Engine repair

The following is a letter sent to Brown's Motorcycle Repair from my attorney. Regrettably, they have not responded after two attempts and several phone calls. It is more than sad that a company can not only be so incompetent but lack basic integrity. In the letter below, names were omitted to protect privacy. Our File No.: MD-X64-2DS  SECOND ATTEMPT Dear Sir/Madam: As you were advised in our previous letter dated, December 9, 2021, Brown's customer, Mr... contacted our office and requested our assistance with a matter involving the repair of his 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan VN800 motorcycle. To date Mr... has not received a response and as such has requested that the letter be re-sent to you in a second and final good faith attempt to resolve this matter without the need for further legal action. On March 31, 2021, Mr... brought his motorcycle via a towing company to your facility for the repair of a gas leak after noticing a puddle of gas on his garage floor under his bike. At that time, he was informed that after a thorough assessment of his bike, no leak was discovered and that the only repair needed to his motorcycle was a new chain which he agreed to have replaced. Once the chain was replaced, Mr... drove his motorcycle twenty (20) miles to his home and parked it in his garage. However, once his bike was turned off, gas again began to leak and puddle under his bike. In other words, the problem was not fixed and Mr... drove the bike home, unknowingly, at great risk.Mr... immediately contacted Brown's who picked the motorcycle up on April 29, 2021, to again assess the location of the gas leak. On July 13, 2021, Mr... was informed that his bike was repaired and ready to be picked up and Mr... paid the repair invoice which totaled $249.46 for the removal, cleaning and replacement of the carburetor, flushing the fuel tank and replacing the spark plugs and fuel filter. Thereafter, Mr... drove his motorcycle only once in August and when he attempted to take his motorcycle out for a second time on September 25th, he discovered that his bike would not start and that gas had once again leaked and formed a puddle under his bike. Immediately Mr... contacted Brown's to advise them of the issue and he was informed that the bike would be picked up for repair and that he would be contacted with the scheduled date. Although Mr... patiently waited almost two (2) months, he never received a return telephone call from Brown's. Needing his motorcycle repaired, Mr... had no other choice but to have his motorcycle towed to another facility, Ellicott City MotorSports Inc. who determined that the carburetor was overflowing with fuel. Ellicott City MotorSports removed, cleaned, replaced the carburetor and flushed the fuel tank. Due to Brown's failure to properly repair his motorcycle, Mr... was forced to  pay an additional $349.00 to another facility for this repair. It should also be noted that Ellicott City performed the same repair that Brown's was alleged to have performed within only a few weeks whereas Brown's took almost three (3) months to return the bike and it was not returned repaired. As a motorcycle repair facility, Brown's holds itself out to have the knowledge and experience to properly repair motorcycles and Mr... relied on that expertise when he chose to bring his bike to Brown's for repair. Unfortunately, this was to Mr... detriment as he not only had to pay additional monies due to Brown's failure to properly repair his motorcycle, but for several months (the entire spring plus), he also loss the enjoyment of riding his motorcycle. Therefore, through the assistance of this office, Mr... demands that Brown's reimburse him a total amount of $____ which represents the amount initially paid to Brown's as well as the amount Mr... was forced to pay due to Brown's failure to repair the motorcycle. As noted above, this is the second and final attempt to resolve this matter amicably without the need to seek further legal action. Please contact Mr... directly within ten (10) business days from the date of this letter to confirm resolution of this matter. If this matter is not adequately resolved, Mr.... has been advised to pursue further legal action. Your prompt attention to this matter will be expected.
