TRW Contracting

Recently had a shower done -- Most of the workers used were great. We were sent to Mid-atlantic tile. They knew Jason had sent us so we assumed they were coordinating. They weren't informed of our budget, but we caught that. Admittedly we changed from a pre-formed base to a tile base after they did demo when we were told we would be losing 7 inches (of 42 inches) of our shower -- Luckily we changed to tile floor otherwise the door that was ordered wouldn't have fit (checked instructions, it can't be cut down). Jason (or Heather? regardless it wasn't caught) under ordered our tile by an entire box (causing a 2 week delay). Once all the tile work was done the guys installed our door backwards meaning we had to climb over the toilet -- They agreed to reverse the door, but that required 5 pieces of bullnose -- luckily we had 4 backups -- so another week delay. Once the door was installed properly we needed to get them to come back to seal the door since there was some missing silicone. The tile guys were great. The plumber was ok. Most of the workers from TRW (especially Brandon) were awesome (some weren't). I'm unsure what role Jason fulfilled in this project other than lining up workers. The tile was under ordered. Most communications were initiated by us asking for updates. Numerous times workers were sent to our house without telling us ahead of time (thankfully covid had me WFH). The door was the wrong size. We were losing shower space w/out warning. At the end of the day the project came in $2k over budget. Would have liked a heads up when we put the order for materials in ("We have you budgetted for X, but your order is going to push the cost to X + $1500"), but alas that would require proactivity on the part of the GC

Amazing job! Jason and the staff are professional and do a really good job with everything...from start to finish. I appreciate that they listen to the customer's needs and make recommendations. Our family is very happy with the work and look forward to having more work done at our home.

Let me start by saying - I am very happy to have my basement completed and more happy that I gave the contract to Jason's TRW contracting LLC. Jason is a very process and result oriented person. Always available to chat, speak or meet in person. He cares throughout the process whether we are happy with everything so far. The one thing I liked about Jason is that he kept us in loop on what to expect and what's coming. Everyday, he used to let me know, who will be here and what's going to be happening which was a peace of mind for us to leave the door open in the basement. Now about the crew - Jason and Brandon were the leads of the project. Both of them are extremely good and they always have good ideas of how they can accomplish what we ask for. Mine was a regular basement, but there were definitely situations where I asked them for suggestions and they provided with very good ones. Richard, Serena and Dewey were awesome. They always made sure we are kept in loop on what they were doing each day. The crew was always on time. On the overall, it was a happy crew. Always laughing, smiling and enjoying what they do. I will recommend TRW to anyone who is looking to finish their basement/or any other re-modeling with 5 stars. I will consider TRW for any work I may be doing in the future.

TRW Contracting just finished up installing a brand new bathtub/shower combo in my home. Apparently, my old tub had been leaking for a long time which caused damage to the sub floor and joists below. TRW did not cut any corners and kept me in the loop on everything throughout the process. They even offered to take my dog out for a walk while I was at work! We will be using TRW again in the future.
