Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

Idk what has happened or going on, but theyre food had been extremely subpar lately. I have always LOVE getting their Tres Leches but the past few times that I have gone to get it, the cakes are not moist, theyre dry. Tres Leches is supposed to be runny and super moist. But now it tastes like regular sweet pound cake. Definitely disappointed and this will most likely stop me from eating at Cafe Rio in Waldorf, Maryland because of this. Smh. I really love tres Leches! So you can imagine how much it sucked eating a dry cake

Food was good for the most part, but if you want steak don't bother coming here. I've tried multiple times to get it and they never have any made. Pretty disappointed since I'm not from the area and heard good things about this restaurant.

*****PERMANENTLY CLOSED AS OF 10-28-18. Why? Who knows, it was great food!******* My family eats here weekly, normally Tuesdays when they have the taco salad deal. There am be a short line but its not normally too bad. Good selection of types of dishes for the 5-6 types of meat they serve. Now they have a variety of sauces, too. If you have a child, don't forget your free nino quesadilla. Also ensure you get the app. Every $100 spent, you get a $10 coupon. And in-app deals are frequent so you'll save more. There's some Orion to order through the app and skip the line as week, but haven't tried that. Great food I'm a regular.
