I hate that it has come to this but it seems like writing a negative review, involving my lawyer and the authorities is the only way at this point. I found love auto detailing Vincent smith through online reviews. In the past, Vincent has detailed my car on 2 occasions. Both times my car came out pretty good (I even wrote a positive review, which I've now deleted) In April 2023 the second time he came out to detail my car he noticed my lawn looking a bit choppy and told me he also has another side business Love Lawn Care lawn care and can help my lawn grown in thicker to reach its full potential. I thanked him for the offer and told him I would have to speak to my partner bc I knew he had his own person he paid to cut the lawn. After a few months, I reached out to Vincent of Love Auto Detailing and told him my car needed cleaning again and that I would like for him to start the lawn treatment services. This was in August 2023. I provided a deposit of $100 for the car. He came out the next day or a few days later to check out the lawn. He tells me all the things I need, what has to be done and gives me an estimate. A week later he behind the work, this was the last week of August 2023. It is now January 2024. For the last 3-4 months he has started and stopped the lawn job so many times. He started the back of the yard, came back a few weeks later started the front and disappeared. Everytime he reappeared he gave me a cost for supplies and how much it would be and I've paid him. In the space of 4 months every time I reached out he came up with an excuse. He's had the flu on multiple occasions, toothaches, car towing problems, car tag Problems, bank account issues etc. until I finally told him we shouldn't continue the work bc it was becoming clear that he was just taking my money and wasting my time. Let me also make clear that I have only canceled on Vincent one time and that was in October when my sister suddenly died and I knew I would be gone for a few days. Even then I left the materials outside in a clean garbage can just incase he came by to do the work - I wanted him to have access to the things he told me I needed to buy for him to do the job. Fast forward. He completed some of the job not all, and he completed it at different time periods which has caused my grass to grown in different lengths. The front was shorter than the back because he put the lawn manure down 3 weeks a part from eachother bc he had a bad toothache. He was supposed to add rocks to my flower bed which he partially did. Half of my lawn has rocks while the other half does not because he hasn't come back. I've been asking him for a refund of just the last payment he asked me for (he said he needed more rocks) and a refund of the $100 deposit I paid since August for the car that he never detailed. This has been a back and forth and below I've provided picture proof and confirmation of an ongoing conversation to get my$330 back ... mind you I've paid him thousands of dollars .. picture proof below. This is just so unfortunate and disheartening. My goal was to support a black entrepreneur is his endeavors and it has led to this. This man has scammed me and my family out of money and now ignoring me and making up lies about sending a money order refund to my house. This is not someone you want to do business with. I have proof of every text and money that was sent. My lawn is incomplete and it looks a mess. He may delete this post but I will add it back if he does. Please take time out to review all the proof below

Vincent made my 13 year old car with chalky paint, look like new again. Detailed entire vehicle. Highly recommended

I wish I could give yet another star, it’s like a whole new car on the inside, I definitely will continue to come back to this business. In addition, I love how well the communication was throughout the process, and while scheduling. He did an amazing job.

Mr. Vincent Smith took advance payment from me, gave me appointment shacked the appointment by coming an hour early, promised to refund my money on three occasions and never did, this business can’t be trusted, he is fraudulent.

Honestly couldn't have been happier with the service I received today; not only were they able to remove five years worth of staining and imbedded debris, but he even offered to fix a scratch I had on my car for no extra charge that a shop would have charged me 150$ for easily! I highly recommend them to anyone in Waldorf and in Southern MD 😊 Service: Auto detailing
