Markwood Lawn & Landscape

We hired James Markwood to install landscape lighting based on a friend's recommendation. Initially, before we handed him the check, he did a great job, but when some thing went wrong with one of the lights, less than a month later he was no where to be found. He does not show up when he says he is going to, doesn't call you back or keep you posted, his customer service is terrible. Do not use this company! Response to Comments from Owner: If you are going to tell stores, tell the whole story. Yes, there was one light that was run over by a delivery company. But there was also another light that was not working and it's wire was exposed when it should have been buried. All of which should have been covered under the warranty. After innumerable messages and broken promises to come fix both lights, Mr. Markwood told me my concerns were not important and that he would get to the work when he got to it. His warranty meant nothing and the only response I got was when I finally posted this review.

Didn't arrive for scheduled meeting because worker was out sick. I had to call him to find out. Then, he said he would call me to reschedule. Never called me back. Guess they didn't need the work.🤷🏽‍♀️ In response to owner: it is unfortunate that you are not able to be truthful in this particular situation. I don't plan things spontaneously as a business owner myself and a mother to 2 young children. I know how important these reviews are for this type of business...you could have easily called me and made this right. I could have deleted this review instead you came on Google to defend and lie about a mistake.

James and his team are the best. We love everything they have ever done for our years and landscaping. They are so helpful and fairly priced. You can't go wrong.

Great lawn service, exceptional hardscaping. Looked around for a while before choosing Markwood Lawn and Landscape. Prices are great, customer service is even better! Thanks
