Nancy is a wonderfully thoughtful and skilled therapist. I have met with Nancy three times and each time was inspiring and profoundly helpful. I am deeply grateful to her and when the need arises, I will not hesitate to return to her. I have had numerous therapists through the years and have felt that Nancy's help was incredibly efficient and caring. I recommend her without reservation. If you have the privilege of working with Nancy, you can know that you are working with the best.

Nancy was very disorganized when it came to setting up a time to talk before our session. When I finally got a hold of her in the phone, I learned she was out of network. I explained that financially I would not be able to work with her. She proceeded to try to coerce me into a session stating a weight would be lifted and that its what my passing relative would want for me. Never in my wildest imagination would I think a psychotherapist would speak so manipulatively. Avoid her at all costs- especially for those who may be vulnerable or easily persuaded. Shame on you, Nancy.

Working with Dr. Nancy Montagna over the past year has been a revelation. Like many, Ive intermittently sought counseling when confronted with particularly difficult lifes challenges. And while helpful, none of these experiences provided the psychological insights enabling the emergence of new and less destructive thought patterns and associated behavioral changes as did the combination of ART and traditional cognitive approaches that Nancy skillfully uses. Nancy is easy to work with and accommodating when it comes to scheduling changes. She has the highest ethical standards. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Montagna.
