We remodeled our townhouse in DC a few years ago. Our home was built around 1890. Adam Metzger was the lead carpenter in the crew. Our remodel was extensive, the detailing was extensive, noting that we wanted to not only keep the integrity of the home, but wanted to enhance it with contemporary touches. Adam worked at ensuring that the custom features in our ceilings, hardwood floors, staircases, baseboards, kitchen cabinetry, restrooms, solid wood doors, fireplace —- all custom made with the most exact measurements. All this with beautiful master carpentry. Adam is an artist, true to his craft. Our guest always notice the detailing in our woodwork. Adam was always professional and also provided us with advise on recommending options which made sense.
