Jujitsu Self Defense $50 Month-to-Month

My daughter has been practicing Japanese Jujitsu at Kaiwan Budokai Dojo for 6 months now and she loves going there. It has a welcoming learning environment led by Sensei Dave who has a heart of a teacher. The senior members of the class are very helpful to newbies learn the art. We wanted our daughter to learn self-defense before she heads out to college. She would have started earlier if not for the pandemic. As parents, we need to give our children the necessary tools to navigate life and self-defense is so important.

Kaiwan Budokai is the best. Great instructors who really teach you the ART of Jujitsu and everything that goes with it. Strength, discipline, confidence, carriage. They tailor their teaching to your specific strengths and work with you to develop new ones. It's amazing to see what you're capable of with some knowledge, some practice and the right moves.

I have been practicing traditional (Japanese) Jujitsu at the Kaiwan Budokai Dojo for six years. Jujitsu has provided me a great form of exercise, camaraderie, a practical form of self-defense, increased self-confidence, and a sense of peace.The instructors are great, and the students are very warm and welcoming. Its a great place to learn a crucial set of skills given the aggressive paradigm that we currently live in.

I took weekly classes with these guys for years before I had to move. I got into Jujitsu to learn self-defense and ended up having fun and making a number of great friends. The instructors are smart, straightforward and really nice. It's an ego-free zone, which is great, and they incorporate a lot of different martial arts techniques into their instruction. It was really empowering for me, because as a rather small woman, I got to learn a lot of different moves that suit me well. It was a great workout too.
