Wow, just trying to get a message to a therapist was like pulling teeth, the receptionist clearly didnt care and hung up.

Im not sure why all the negative reviews, but Im going to speak from my experience. I think this is a great place. Ive certainly received some much needed help. My therapist is amazing! The front desk staff are always kind and helpful. The offices are clean, well kept, and comfortable. Definitely recommend them and have to a couple of friends. Thank you Chesapeake Mental Health!

Amy has helped me through some of my darkest days and has helped guide me in such a positive way. By breaking down my own thoughts and actions so that I can see them in every angle. She never pushes me past my comfort zone, while still being one of the easiest people to talk to. You can tell you aren't being judged. She is one of the sweetest and smartest people I have ever met. I always look forward to meeting with her and I will be a client for as long as I can. Thank you, Amy!

This is without a doubt the worst mental health facility I have ever been treated at. The front desk staff is incredibly rude, they continuously mess up appointment times, they are unwilling to help reschedule appointments messed up on their end, and the therapists are a joke. There is no communication among staff and no communication of changes to patients. I went to my appointment today (for which I had FOUR CONFIRMATIONS all telling me that my appointment was at 4pm today) but when I got to the front desk the woman who checked me in informed me that my appointment was at 2pm, regardless of the confirmations that I have. There was no attempt to contact me prior to my arrival, no apology for the mixup, nothing. I called about half an hour later and cancelled all future appointments with the practice (and was again treated incredibly disrespectfully). I have no intention to return. Do not come here if you want to be treated with any kind of respect. This practice is a joke.
