Highly recommend!! My fiancé and I got the pleasure of working with Mary in preparation for our May 2020 wedding. She took absolutely STUNNING engagement photos for us and made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. I was truly blown away by the quality of pictures and the way they captured exactly who we are as a couple. She was incredibly flexible and willing to meet us at a rather remote venue location. Mary was an absolute PLEASURE to work with! She really provided everything we wanted for our wedding photos. The candids are lovely; we didn’t spend a ton of time taking formal portraits (probably less than 10 minutes total!) which was a big priority for us. We were able to enjoy our wedding fully and be present with our guests. I adore her documentary style—she captured us as a couple so well, and she got some amazing shots of our guests. Mary got so many intimate moments without us even knowing. She was so unobtrusive, someone even asked us after the wedding if we’d had a photographer at all! It was exactly the experience we had hoped for. Mary was also funny, friendly, professional and completely put-together. One moment that stands out is when Mary got on the phone with my then-fiancé before the ceremony to remind him and his groomsmen not to carry anything in their pockets, as it would ruin the lines of their suits and show up in photos. Such a small detail that really impressed me and shows her level of experience! Mary really understood our vision for the day…a big, fun, casual but beautiful party! If this sounds like your style, all I can say is, HIRE HER if you can! Thank you so much, Mary, you were a dream :)

I loved Mary’s work from the minute I saw her Instagram account and knew she would be a great fit. It was important for me to have photographs of our wedding that had an artistic, candid feel and approach to them and her aesthetic definitely fits that mold. My husband and I were nervous during our engagement shoot with her. But she made a point to try to make the shoot as chill as possible. So I felt even more comfortable and ready the day of my wedding to take pictures. She’s also down and open to any cool or new ideas you may want to try out for your wedding photos; which made it fun and easy to collaborate with her. We had our first look photos on a hotel roof top and rode in a party bus to and from our wedding venue and she was easy going to come along for all of that. So I would definitely recommend her to anyone that wants to try a different approach to wedding photography. She really captured the vibe and feel of our day and we’ll have memories to share with our friends and family.
